This season we’ve been upping the team and broadening our reach. We’ve broken our mileage record and made it to Egypt with our glitter boxes, for the grand opening of the extraordinary Mall of Egypt. Meanwhile back in the UK we face-painted the staff of ITV, The Bodyshop, Havas, Kream London, Deliveroo, Quantcast, Solgar, CAE, Global Infusion, Dishoom, Art Fund, HRG, Tokyo Marine Kiln, Credit Suisse, Finn Comms, Great Ormond Street Hospital, The Royal Academy, The NHS, Molson Coors, Hue & Cry Agency, Accel, Oodle Finance, Nissan Design and Total Media.
We were delighted to return to face paint at The Imagine Festival Southbank Centre for the fourth year in a row, which always tops the leader boards for best London childrens’ event, with good reason. Elissa Gold Events brought us back on board to glitter Wilderness Festival, Secret Garden Party and Standon Calling. Then we were back on the Southbank for The London Bridge Festival, we returned to Royston Arts Festival as well as to Reading Festival. We also loved face painting the crowds at Analogfolk, Pride and The Spotlight Festival at 7 Dials and The Notting Hill Carnival for Story Events. Grean Tea Productions brought us on board for a private, VIP festival hosted by Sarah Ashcroft AKA That Pommie Girl.
Assured Events brought a Glitterbox team on board to make a staff party glow at a UV dance party at Eventim Apollo. We also added some black-light brilliance to corporate and staff events at Fabric Nightclub and The Ministry of Sound and Brixton Beach. We also added extreme glow to a neon yoga event for Asos & Adidas.
We’ve been flat out with The Surrey Storm netball players at both Surrey Sports Park and The Copper Box Arena at The Queen Elizabeth Park as well as painting the crowds at The Centurian Club for The European Golf Sixes Tour. Then we were back at the Olympic park for The Paralympic Medal Ceremonies. Then we headed to Cardiff for The Cycling Tour of Britain and to Edgbaston for the test match, for Great Big Events. We also loved face painting the crowds at the Virgin British 10k and at Ascot Races for Big Hands People. We like to think we expended almost as much energy as the athletes!
Experiential marketing is such a favourite of ours and we’ve had fun glitter-branding Greenergy, Bottle Green Drinks, River Island, Selfridges, Aperol for Wcommunications, Sunuva, Solgar. We’ve also promoted initiatives for BID St Albans, BID Welwyn, St Albans and Stevenage Borough Council and Unbottling Potential and face-painted the clients of K-A Events, Stormont London, The Little Top, Brandwidth, Studio Juice, Chaika Events, Scarlett Entertainment, Kru Talent, Cheerful Twenty First. We work with each brand to look at their ethics and purpose and fit our products and designs to match – whether it’s biodegradable glitters or colour-matching with brand shades or colour psychologies.
